Visiting Hours: spouses, partners, grandparents and the newborn's siblings can visit anytime. All other visitors can visit any time during the day and evening, at the discretion of the parents, until 8:00 pm.

We feel that the Anna Jaques Birth Center is one of our community's greatest assets. During the extraordinary experience of giving birth, you want to make sure that you have expert care, your doctor in-house, an anesthesiologist in the hospital, and extra care for your newborn should that be required. The Anna Jaques Birth Center offers all this to delivering moms and their families.

From the moment you arrive at the Birth Center, you will become part of a long tradition of distinguished prenatal, maternal and postpartum health care. We are proud of our maternity services, our exceptional staff and birth center that together provide a patient-centered, family-centered nurturing environment.

Our birth center rooms feature a sleeping chair for your partner, a private bathroom, a refrigerator, a TV/stereo, wireless internet access and room for the baby, allowing your new family to stay together throughout your hospital stay.

At Anna Jaques, you can design your own delivery and we will work with you to accommodate acupuncture and doulas. This experience is about you and your child, and we do everything we can to make it exactly as you desire.

We encourage you to explore our website and read about the personal birth choices available to you. Here you can find the right midwife or physician, read about our lactation consultants, look into the various support groups available, or research the pediatrician that suits your needs.

If you are expecting, or are considering starting a family, Anna Jaques Hospital invites you to a Birth Center Open House and tour.

Come see our Birth Center designed to be comfortable for moms and their families, and meet our obstetricians/gynecologists, nurse midwives, nurses, family practice physicians, and pediatricians. This is your opportunity to ask questions about one of life’s most important decisions.
