Occupational Health

Occupational Health is devoted to the prevention and management of workplace injury, illness and disability; and to the promotion of health for workers. Physicians and nurses who are certified in the field of occupational medicine bring to the workplace specific skills and expertise in the prevention, evaluation and management of conditions that are experienced by workers exposed to hazards in the workplace.

Injury Management Services:

Injury management services are provided by clinicians who specialize in treating work-related injuries and illnesses, who appreciate the unique needs of the workplace, who possess advanced knowledge of the worker's compensation system and expertise in disability management, and who understand the employer's need to keep the employee at work. Service Payment

Usually services are paid for by the employer or the employer’s workers compensation carrier. Immunizations, DOT medical examinations and other types of exams are paid for privately by the individual.
