First Annual Sea Festival of Trees a Huge Success
Posted on December 18, 2013

The Sea Festival of Trees to benefit Anna Jaques Hospital and the Salisbury Beach Partnership was a massive success raising $24,000, with $12,000 being donated to each organization. More than 8,000 people walked through the doors at Blue Ocean Music Hall in Salisbury Beach to see all of the beautiful trees dressed by local businesses and organizations, with two trees of our own from Anna Jaques. The Birth Center tree was decorated with hand-lettered pink or blue booties carrying names of babies born at AJH this year. The Gerrish Breast Care Center tree was named the "Gold Tree Award Winner: Best Presentation of Theme." It was decorated by community volunteers led by Ginny Eramo and topped by a stunning, Swarovski-crystal studded bra designed by Bennett & Company and donated by the company’s owner Jacalyn Bennett.
