National Doctors Day

A Letter: Thank Your Physician

As printed in the Daily News of Newburyport:

On an almost daily basis, I receive letters of appreciation from patients of Anna Jaques Hospital, commending the compassionate care they received at our hospital.

Sharing these heartfelt letters with the honored employee can make their day or week or month. There is nothing more meaningful than someone taking the time to write a handwritten note to their provider to say what a difference their care made.

March 30 marks “National Doctors’ Day,” an annual celebration to honor the dedicated physicians who devote their lives to care for our community.

At Anna Jaques Hospital, our doctors care for the sick and injured and those battling chronic disease. They promote a healthy lifestyle and deliver new generations into the world. These caregivers become among our most trusted advisers, our friends and our heroes.

Please join us as we recognize our physicians and the exceptional care they provide to our community each and every day. We invite you to do so by writing a personal note of appreciation to your doctor and/or by making a donation in the name of the physician who has touched your life.

Letters of appreciation and donations can be sent to the Anna Jaques Community Health Foundation at 25 Highland Ave., Newburyport, MA.

You can also participate online at www.ajh.org/giving. Your words of gratitude, shared with the physician, become a cherished reward for their lifesaving work. Your gift helps to ensure our medical staff has the latest technology and tools to care for you and those you love.

On behalf of the board of directors, employees, volunteers and most importantly, our patients, we thank our doctors for keeping our community strong and healthy.

With appreciation,

Mark Goldstein
