Parking Lot Renovation is Complete

A huge thank you to all employees, physicians, volunteers, neighbors, patients and families for their patience and cooperation as we renovated all of the parking lots across the hospital campus. This massive project was challenging to coordinate while maintaining normal hospital operations. One of the contractors remarked that he had never seen such a large undertaking without relocating parking to an alternate lot and shuttling staff to and from the site.

We hope you all are enjoying walking and driving on the safe and clean parking areas around the facility. This was a major investment in our hospital, totaling $1 million, and it will last for decades.

A special thanks goes out to the General Contractor for the project, Syvinski Landscaping LLC; the paving which was performed by Bell and Flynn; Al Zabriskie and his security team; Bob Rawding and his maintenance team; and, specifically, Chris Linehan for the significant, unexpected electrical work that he performed in the main lot.  And, of course, a big shout out to Dave Fowler, Senior Director of Facilities, whose commitment and expertise guided us through this entire process.

While there were a few bumps in the road (pun intended), overall the project went smoothly and the parking lots are far more functional and beautiful than ever before.
