Raising Funds for Patient Care

The Anna Jaques Hospital Aid Association has been in existence for almost as long as the hospital itself. Founded in 1888, it is made up of energetic, dedicated women and men whose primary goal is to raise funds to purchase special equipment for the hospital. The Aid Association has about 200 members and is governed by its own 28 member board of directors. Their work has made a tremendous difference over the years and has provided millions of dollars for mission critical needs. Join the Aid Association today!

TOLThe annual Aid Association’s Tree of Light ceremony took place December 7, 2015. President of the Aid Association Mary Ann Abbott, President & CEO Mark Goldstein, and Chairman of the Board and sponsor of the event, David LaFlamme, welcomed attendees on a warm December evening.

Staff and community members looked on as the tree was lit and were treated to holiday music performed by Newburyport High School's Varisty Choral Group on the front steps. Afterwards, people enjoyed hot chocolate and treats while the First Congregational Church of Georgetown Bell Ringers performed.

The Annual Tree of Light celebration is a community-wide remembrance event organized by the Anna Jaques Hospital Aid Association. The annual event welcomes people to make a donation in memory or in honor of a loved one, with each light on the tree reflecting that gift. Click here to view the 2015 Tree of Light Scroll.
