Daniel Kim, DO, is a board-certified Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care physician.
Dr. Kim spent 15 years in the Washington, D.C., area practicing clinical medicine and teaching at the Uniformed Services University as Assistant Professor of Medicine. He received his medical degree from A.T. Still University in June 2003. He served as a Medical Corps Officer with the U.S. Navy for 11 years before receiving an honorable discharge with a rank of Lieutenant Commander. Dr. Kim completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the National Naval Medical Center and is fellowship-trained in Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine through the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
Dr. Kim worked in several military hospitals as a Pulmonologist and Intensivist in the National Capital Region. In 2010, he served as the medical director of the ICU at the NATO ROLE-3, Multinational Medical Unit, Kandahar, Afghanistan.
He moved to the Seacoast in 2014 and joined Portsmouth Regional Hospital in New Hampshire and he is now very excited to begin his new practice with Coastal Pulmonology at Anna Jaques Hospital.
Dr. Kim enjoys reading and spending time with his wife and three daughters. Remaining physically active with exercise is a priority and passion of his.
