About Dr. Gross

Joseph W. Gross, MD

Dr. Gross consults with patients and physicians about the increasingly complex realm of infections and infectious diseases. He is a board-certified infectious disease physician with locations in Newburyport and Haverhill, MA.

Dr. Gross' inpatient and outpatient practice encompasses all aspects of infectious disease medicine.  He diagnoses and treats patients with conditions including HIV, skin and soft tissue infections, urinary tract infections, and a wide variety of other bacterial, viral and fungal infections. Dr. Gross also practices travel medicine with evaluation of people prior to international travel, administering vaccinations and other measures to ensure a safe and healthy trip. He sits on the Infection Control Committee at Anna Jaques.

He resides in Newburyport with his wife and two children, and enjoys fishing, running and gardening.
