George J. Papanicolaou, DO

George J. Papanicolaou, DO, has led Cornerstone Family Practice since 2000. He is a board-certified family physician with a diverse background of training and experience. Dr. George’s innovative approach to medicine combines education, prevention, and his own unique concept of WHOLE LIFE WELLNESS.

Dr. George uses his education and deep compassion for patients to help them meet their wellness and performance goals. As a family physician, he treats patients at every stage life; from infancy to full maturity. As an osteopathic physician he is an expert in Osteopathic Manipulation and Treatment. He is an avid cyclist and swimmer who is personally committed to nutritive principles of health and athletic performance through caloric balance and whole-food eating.

Dr. George is an active member of his community and has served as the physician for the Triton Regional School District. In addition, he is a past board member of The Whittier Independent Practice Organization at Anna Jaques Hospital. Dr. George has lived in Newbury, MA with his wife and three children since relocating from northeast Arizona, where he worked for the Federal Government on the Navajo Reservation.
