Brett Joseph Matthews , DO

Dr. Matthews is a graduate of the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He began his residency training at Berkshire Medical Center and went on to complete his residency training at the University of Hawaii.  Following residency, Dr. Matthews completed a fellowship in Advanced GI/Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Fellowship at the University of Massachusetts.

His clinical interests include:

• Laparoscopic Foregut surgery (Hiatal Hernia, Anti-reflux surgery, Gastric Surgery)
• Laparoscopic and open Hernia repair (simple and complex)
• Upper and Lower Endoscopy 
• Minimally Invasive Surgery on the colon, adrenal and spleen

Dr. Matthews is certified by the American Board of Surgery.
