Daphna Spiegel , MD

Dr. Spiegel is a radiation oncologist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She treats all types of cancer, but her clinical specialties include treatment of breast and gynecologic malignancies. Dr. Spiegel graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed her radiation oncology residency training at Duke University, where she served as Chief Resident. She appreciates engaging in a multi-disciplinary team approach and partnering with patients to achieve high-quality and compassionate care. Dr. Spiegel’s research interests include understanding and minimizing toxicities related to cancer treatment. Her research has been published in journals such as Journal of Clinical Oncology and Cancer, and her work has been presented both at the national level and internationally. When not working, Dr. Spiegel enjoys spending time with her husband, two young children, and her adopted black Labrador retriever.
