About Dr. Gangadharan
Dr. Sidhu Gangadharan, Chief of Thoracic Surgery and Interventional Pulmonology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, is board-certified in thoracic surgery and a Harvard Medical Faculty Physician. Dr. Gangadharan received his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School and served as an intern and resident at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Gangadharan also completed his fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Appointed an Associate Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Gangadharan combines his pursuit of clinical excellence with effective teaching of this clinical knowledge. He is dedicated to resident education, serving as both the Assistant Program Director for General Surgery and the Associate Program Director for Cardiothoracic Surgery training programs. Dr. Gangadharan has worked closely with Interventional Pulmonology colleagues to develop a multidisciplinary complex airway center which treats more adult patients with tracheobronchomalacia than any institution worldwide.
