In January 2015, Anna Jaques and Beth Israel Deaconess HealthCare (BIDHC) introduced the first of our co-branded primary care collaboration with Dr. Maysabel Aponte and the opening of BIDHC-Haverhill. A year later, this co-branded collaboration - with the shared goal of providing excellent primary care right in our community - grows with new physicians and practices in Amesbury and Haverhill.
BIDHC-Haverhill Family Medicine
BIDHC-Haverhill Family Medicine opens its doors as we welcome two new Primary Care Physicians, Dr. Michael Guidi and Dr. Chaya Ray (starting March 2016). BIDHC-Haverhill Family Medicine is located at 215 Summer Street in Haverhill (with patient entrance at 44 Mill Street), in the suite next to Dr. Aponte’s BIDHC-Haverhill office.
Dr. Michael Guidi is a board-certified family practice physician with more than 30 years’ experience. Dr. Guidi received his medical degree at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a three-year residency in family practice at Beverly Hospital before joining Lahey in 1998.
Dr. Chaya Ray is a board-certified family practice physician who joins us from Lahey Hospital. Dr. Ray received her medical degree from Madurai Medical College in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India and went on to complete her internship and residency at Latterman Family Practice in McKeesport, PA.
BIDHC – Amesbury
BIDHC-Amesbury opened on December 1st in the newly renovated office building at 2 Goddard Avenue next to Amesbury Health Center, as we welcome Dr. Anavera Lopes and Dr. Risa Schulman.
Dr. Anavera Lopes specializes in family and internal medicine. She graduated from the St. Louis University College of Medicine, Baguio City, Benguet, Philippines in 2000 and was formerly affiliated with Lahey Hospital & Medical Center and Lahey Medical Center.
Dr. Risa Schulman is a board-certified family medicine doctor who received her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and has been in practice for nine years.
