The Gerrish Breast Care Center at Anna Jaques in Newburyport brings together an experienced team of professionals and resources to ensure the highest standard of care and seamless coordination of services for every patient who walks through our doors. The Center is affiliated with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, which means Boston specialists are a part of our patients' care team.

We’re committed to giving you the best experience possible. 3D mammography, the most advanced technology available, is now offered at our three locations in Newburyport, Haverhill, and Amesbury. Patients receive their initial screening results within two business days, and our dedicated Patient Navigator assists and supports you through additional tests and treatment if needed. You’ll be our patient for life, even if all you ever need are regular screenings. We’ll proactively keep up-to-date on your needs so you receive necessary screenings on time.

Anna Jaques brings you the latest diagnostic tools and treatment options across the spectrum of conservative options and advanced surgeries. Our collaboration with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) expands the breadth of clinical expertise available to our patients. As part of the Center’s multidisciplinary team, BIDMC specialists provide patients with an additional tertiary perspective and participate in treatment planning. They participate in weekly Tumor Board conferences to discuss the diagnosis and treatment plan for individual patient cases.

Certified Breast Center by American College of Surgeons

The Gerrish Breast Care Center is Certified Breast Center as recognized by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program administered by the American College of Surgeons. We are only one of only 19 Certified Breast Centers in Massachusetts.

Accreditation by the NAPBC is given to Centers that have voluntarily committed to providing the highest level of quality breast care and that demonstrates compliance with standards established by the NAPBC for treating women who are diagnosed with the full spectrum of breast disease. A breast center that achieves NAPBC accreditation has demonstrated a firm commitment to offer its patients every significant advantage in their battle against breast disease.
