About Dr. Sliwa

Dr. Sliwa, MD, MPH is a graduate of St. George’s University School of Medicine, where she completed a combined medical degree and master’s degree in public health. After attending medical school, Dr. Sliwa completed her internal medicine residency training at Baystate Medical Center/Tufts University School of Medicine and her hematology and medical oncology fellowship at Baystate Medical Center/The University of Massachusetts Medical School.  Prior to attending medical school, she worked as a research study assistant on national and international clinical trials at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

Dr. Sliwa cares for patients with both oncologic and hematologic malignancies as well as benign hematologic conditions.  She has particular interests in breast cancer, lung cancer and cancer genetics.

Dr. Sliwa was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society, served on the American Society of Clinical Oncology Educational Book Expert Panel and is a graduate of the American Society of Hematology Advocacy Leadership Institute.

Dr. Sliwa is licensed to practice medicine in Massachusetts, Maine and New York.

Dr. Sliwa is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and board eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology. 

Dr. Sliwa is fluent in both English and Spanish.  Outside of the office, Dr. Sliwa enjoys spending time with family, exploring the great outdoors and traveling.
