Thomas C. Liu , MD

Dr. Liu is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. He received his medical degree from Northwestern University and performed his post-graduate training at the University of Maryland and Boston Medical Center. After completing training, Dr. Liu joined the faculty at Weill Cornell Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital. He then served as Chief of Gastroenterology at the New England Baptist Hospital in Boston with a joint teaching/practice position at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. 

At the Newburyport Gastroenterology practice, Dr. Amorosino, Dr. Richard Zirin and Dr. Liu strive to help patients achieve digestive health and well-being. Dr. Liu's expertise covers the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, including colon cancer screening and colonoscopy, diseases of the small bowel, upper endoscopy, video capsule endoscopy, and liver disease.
